CS 4773 Object Oriented Programming, Spring 1998
Project Information
The presentations should be short (15 minutes maximum).
You should describe the project problem, the methods used for
solution, and give a demonstration, if possible.
You should discuss the object-oriented nature of your design.
If your project is not finished, describe what remains to be done.
You may also want to discuss alternative methods of solution and what
you would have done differently if you were to start over again.
A drawing was held in class on Tuesday April 7 to determine the order of
presentation. I drew for those groups that were absent.
Below is a tentative list of presentations. The first number given is the
number drawn which determined the order unless you indicated that you
wanted to go earlier. So far only two groups have confirmed that they
wanted to present early. It is not too late to make this request
and I will adjust the list as necessary.

- Final demonstrations
Rules
- You have 15 minutes for your presentation including time for questions.
You should plan to talk for about 12 minutes. Because there are smaller
groups than originally planned, the presentations have been shortened
from the original 20 minutes.
- For group presentation, not all members need to speak. The 15 minute
time period is for the entire group.
- If you are not ready to present at the time scheduled, you will
lose 20 percent (10 points out of 50) and you will give your presentation
at the end.
- 10 percent of your grade (5 points out of 50) will be based on
attendance at the presentations. You may be excused for a good reason.
- If you do not demonstrate a finish project, you will need to give
me a demonstration when you have it completed.
- The last possible time to give me a demonstration is on Monday May 4
between 10:30 and 1:15.
- You must hand in your final report by Tuesday, April 28, in class.
