CS 3733 Operating Systems, Spring 2002 Assignment 5 Procedures
On Tuesday, April 30 at 2 PM,
I will be in the lab sitting at one of the machines.
If you have Part 4 working,
log into one of the machines in the lab and prepare to have your assignment
checked as indicated below. Hand me your assignment with the machine name
and port number you are using written at the top of the cover page.
If you have Part 5 working do the following:
- Start your proxy_monitor_simple on one of your ports.
- Write "Part 5" and the machine name and port number
on the top of your cover page.
- Hand me your assignment and wait while I run it.
- Go back to your machine and shut down your proxy_monitor.
- Print out the log file.
- Write your name and "Part 5 Log" on the top of the sheet containing the
log file.
- Hand me this sheet.
If you have Part 4 working, but not Part 5:
- Start your proxy_server on one of your ports.
- Write "Part 4" and the machine name and port number
on the top of your cover page.
- Hand me your assignment and wait while I run it.
- Go back to your machine and shut down your proxy_server.
If you do not have Part 4 working:
- Write "Part 4 not working" on the top of your cover sheet.
- Be sure to give a description of what is working and what is not.
- Hand me your assignment.
