General comments on compresstokens:
- If your program did not work for at least one of the test cases,
your maximum score was 5 out of 10.
- Simpler is better, as long as it is correct.
- You did not have to handle the case of a NULL parameter.
- Include comments to indicate what your program is doing.
- tabs, carriage returns, null characters are all part of tokens for
this program.
- Be sure to test with leading and trailing blanks.
- The program should not have any unstated side effects, like setting errno.
- At most one assignment per line.
- Indent 3 spaces, not more.
- You need to show the include files if they are necessary.
- Do not use C++ style comments: //
- No lines longer than 80 characters.
- Use prototypes if you have forward references.
- Do not confuse NULL with the null character
- Consider using array notation: s[i] instead of *(s+i)
- All variables internal to a function should be defined at the start of the
function.
- At most one statement per line.
