This demo starts with the animation turned on.
It is sutiable for showing how processes move among the monitor
queues and how the classical "solution" to the Dining Philosophers
problem works.
This "solution" is not actually a solution as this demo illustrates. It allows starvation.
When the simulation window appears, push the Show Info button to display a commentary of the first few steps.
Push the green Step Time button a few times. Then turn the animation off by pushing the pink Animation On button and run a few more steps. You might also want to display a Gantt chart with the Gantt Chart button.
